This article examines the main risk factors contributing to the development of pneumonia in children under the age of 3 in the Fergana region. The study analyzed socio-demographic, hygienic, immunological, and environmental factors. The results showed that the mother’s health during pregnancy, vaccination coverage, nutritional quality, sanitary-hygienic conditions, and environmental influences are the leading risk factors for pneumonia in children. Strengthening preventive measures plays an important role in reducing pneumonia incidence among children.
