Evaluating students’ spiritual-ethical competence through najmiddin kubra’s ten principles: an assessment framework for higher education

Annotatsiya

This article develops a culturally grounded assessment framework for evaluating students’ spiritual-ethical competence in higher education through the educational ideas of the Central Asian thinker Najmiddin Kubra. The study responds to a persistent problem in educational evaluation: universities often measure cognitive achievement more systematically than moral self-regulation,reflective awareness, responsibility, and humanistic conduct. Design/methodology/approach: The article uses qualitative conceptual analysis, construct mapping, and evaluative rubric design. Najmiddin Kubra’s ten principles of inner development are reinterpreted as assessable educational constructs rather than as indicators of religiosity.
