The article presents an analysis of the neurological status of 80 full-term children with low birth weight (low-weight children) in comparison with a control group. The relationship between etiological factors (chronic intrauterine hypoxia/placental insufficiency, intrauterine infections, acute intranatal asphyxia, metabolic disorders) and the specificity of clinical manifestations of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and neurosonography data was studied. The features of the course of neurological syndromes depending on the leading pathogenetic factor were identified, which is necessary for the development of differentiated diagnostic algorithms and management tactics.
