The article provides a scientific-legal analysis of current problems in improving the legal regulation of mediation in labor disputes in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Three key areas are examined: ensuring guarantees for the protection of workers' rights in the mediation process, introduction of special regulation of labor dispute mediation in national legislation, and improving the legal regime of mediation agreements. Based on a comparative analysis of international standards (ILO, EU Directive 2008/52/EC, Singapore Convention) and foreign legislative experience (Turkey, Germany, United Kingdom), specific proposals are developed for supplementing the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Mediation" of July 3, 2018, with a special chapter dedicated to mediation in labor disputes.
