This article scientifically examines the participation of prosecution bodies in the lawmaking activities of foreign countries, its forms and methods, the experience of foreign countries in this area, and the impact of international documents on lawmaking. The article identifies two types of prosecution bodies on the modern legal map of the world (Continental System (Western Europe) and Anglo-American (Anglo-Saxon) system) and reveals their differences. The article also analyzes conceptual issues that should be addressed when regulating the participation of prosecution bodies in legislative activity in foreign countries and develops relevant scientific conclusions.
