This article scientifically examines the legal basis for organizing the activities of prosecution bodies in the countries of East Asia, the place and role of prosecution bodies in state governance, the powers granted to prosecution bodies by state legislation, and their goals and objectives. All countries of East Asia have in mind the bodies of the prosecutor's office, which have differences in the structure of their state apparatus related to objective and subjective factors, and the features of these factors are studied in detail. The article also provides a comparative analysis of the procedures related to the activities of prosecutors in China, Japan, and South Korea, and develops relevant scientific conclusions.
