This article discusses the presence of corruption in the higher education system as a negative phenomenon, outlines theoretical perspectives on corruption, and highlights the measures being implemented to prevent it in higher education. It also examines the introduction of compliance control structures and the role of digitalization in higher education as a tool for mitigating corruption-related factors. Furthermore, the article presents the proposals and opinions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding anti-corruption efforts in higher education, explores the scientific views of various scholars on the issue, and provides relevant suggestions and conclusions.
