Malignant brain tumours remain one of the most difficult problems of modern neurosurgery and oncology. Even after successful surgical treatment, a significant proportion of patients retain neurological and cognitive impairments that reduce their quality of life. The aim of the study is to assess the importance of early medical rehabilitation in the restoration of functions and the prevention of complications in patients after neurosurgical treatment of malignant brain tumours. The article examines modern approaches to organising early multidisciplinary rehabilitation, including neurophysiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and cognitive correction, as well as the participation of the family in care. The principles of early mobilisation, the prevention of hypodynamia, the correction of affective disorders and social and everyday adaptation are presented. It is noted that beginning rehabilitation in the early stages of hospitalisation and continuing it in specialised centres contributes to improved functional outcomes and a higher quality of life for patients.
