The proposed article emphasizes that outdoor games are one of the important means of increasing the motor activity of children. Selected outdoor games captivate children and make them participate more in these game activities, arouse great interest in them, increase motor activity and serve as the best means of motor and motor activity. Games attract children, entertain them, correspond to their age characteristics, satisfy the need for imitation, activity, freedom. School-age children are especially interested in such forms of play that have elements of a fantastic perception of the surrounding real world, providing a consistent transition to sports games. We have developed a classification of outdoor games that are widely used in the process of physical education.
