The internationalization of higher medical education is one of the leading trends in the modern educational space. According to UNESCO, the number of foreign students studying at medical universities in the world has more than tripled in the last two decades and continues to grow. This process is accompanied by the increasing relevance of issues related to the adaptation of young people to a new socio-cultural, linguistic, and educational environment. The adaptation of foreign students to the conditions of study at medical universities represents a complex multi-level process, including socio-cultural, academic, linguistic, and psychological components. The peculiarities of medical education, characterized by high academic workload, the need to master specific terminology, intensive practical training, and increased responsibility for learning outcomes, create additional adaptation challenges for foreign students.
