In patients with Acute cerebrovascular accident, the percentage of S/S, S/A, and A/A genotypes was 12.3%, 43.4%, and 44.3%, respectively, while in patients with Acute cerebrovascular accident, these indicators were 16.0%, 48.7%, and 35.3%, respectively. The type of polymorphism rs699947 studied in the VEGF-a gene, the genotype distribution was investigated in accordance with the Hardy-Weinberg equation. In the main group, the distribution of homozygous genotypes – S/S and A/A at the empirically observed and expected theoretical levels was 0.136/0.136 and 0.411/0.405, respectively. In the control group, the frequency of these genotypes was 0.187/0.18 and 0.338/0.33, respectively.
