Annotatsiya

This article presents the results ofdeveloping a technology for obtaining an extract from the seeds ofAbelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench (okra), which are rich in biologically active compounds. The study includes the preparation of plant raw materials, selection of an optimal extractant, determination of extraction conditions, as well as concentration and drying processes. It was established that hydroalcoholic solutions provide efficient extraction of flavonoids, polysaccharides, and phenolic compounds from okra seeds. The main physicochemical characteristics of the obtained extract were evaluated. The proposed technology can be applied in the development of herbal medicinal products and dietary supplements.
