This article analyzes modern screening diagnostic methods and preventive approaches to arterial hypotension (AGhip). In particular, based on domestic and foreign sources for 2021-2024, the epidemiological scale, pathogenetic mechanism, and clinical consequences of AHhip are highlighted. Studies have shown that in young people, especially in the student group, functional-hemodynamic changes manifest at an early stage, and in the elderly population, orthostatic hypotension is accompanied by syncopal states and injuries. The optimal use of 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, orthostatic tests, and cognitive tests in AHhip screening has been shown. Preventive strategies are based on lifestyle therapy, restoration of autonomic nervous system stability, and corrective measures aimed at risk groups. The article emphasizes the need to assess AHhip as a hidden predictor of cardiovascular diseases and proposes the introduction of screening and early diagnosis programs into practice.
