Annotatsiya

Osteochondrosis leads to dystrophic changes of the spine: degeneration of intervertebral discs, adjacent vertebral bodies, intervertebral joints and ligamentous apparatus. It also causes overstrain of the muscles of the cervical region, irritation and compression of the neurovascular bundles containing the vertebral artery and sympathetic nerve. The consequence of such changes may be a decrease in blood circulation in the hypothalamus, cerebellum, brainstem, occipital lobes of the brain, retina and optic nerve.
