In the article, the author analyzes some approaches to the issue of technical support and safety in the activities of genomic registration. Analyzing and studying the scientific works of foreign scientists and practical recommendations of investigative and search authorities, reveals possible ways to solve problems in the process of introducing and using genomic information.
