The article investigates how English and Karakalpak speakers use gender- specific speech patterns to study the sociolinguistic characteristics of dialects used in these two languages. The study demonstrates that while multiple languages share universal patterns of genderlect usage two distinct cultural elements determine how speakers of English and Karakalpak languages use gender through their speech. The research results demonstrate to the world how different languages connect with gender-related language use in various cultural settings through their relationship with biological sex and gender roles.
