Annotatsiya

This article explores the possibilities of using interactive tools in developing discursive competence in pre-service English language teachers. Discursive competence is regarded as an important component of communicative competence, as it enables future teachers to construct coherent, cohesive, and contextually appropriate spoken and written discourse. In modern teacher education, interactive tools play a significant role in creating learner-centered environments that promote active participation, collaboration, critical thinking, and meaningful communication. The article highlights the pedagogical potential of such interactive tools as digital platforms, discussion-based activities, role plays, collaborative tasks, presentations, and problem-solving exercises in fostering discourse production and interaction skills. It is emphasized that the integration of interactive tools into the educational process helps future teachers improve their ability to organize ideas logically, maintain communication, respond appropriately in different contexts, and engage effectively in professional and academic discourse.
