Annotatsiya

The period of the Uyghur Khaganate (744-840) occupies a special place in the history of theTurks in terms of its statehood and cultural heritage. In particular, the inscriptions written in the language ofthe khagans of this dynasty contain valuable information about the statehood, military processes, and administrative system of the khaganate. Inscriptions such as Tariat, Tes, Shine Usu, and Karabalgasun, which aresecond only to the Chinese chronicles in terms of the period, provide information on various topics. While theShine Usu inscription focuses on military actions, clashes, and the unity of the state and people, the Tariyatinscription is dominated by praise for administrative and territorial victories. In this regard, these sourceshelp to gain a broader understanding of the Uyghur Khaganate. Below we have tried to consider the Tariyatinscription.
