The article presents the views of the world’s great linguists on the emergence of anthropocentric linguistics from traditional and structural linguistics in cognitive linguistics at the turn of the 21st century and the central role of man in this linguistics. The anthropocentric paradigm is a set of ideas that studies language not as a dry structure, but as an open system based on live dialogue and communication, analyzes other systems in their inextricable connection with man, society, culture, etc., and is devoted to the analysis of their views.
