Based on a detailed analysis of the works of a number of Tajik literary critics, the article examines Sadriddin Aini’s enormous contribution to the development of Uzbek-Tajik literary relations. It is emphasized that S.Aini’s scientific and literary works touch upon all aspects of the history and theory of Uzbek and Tajik literature.
