The article argues that viral trends are increasing the democratisation of language by making users active participants in setting linguistic norms. At the same time, the impact of social networks on cultur al identity, the formation of global English, and linguistic polarization has been studied. The article positively evaluates the impact of social networks on language and emphasises the need to maintain linguistic diversity and balance language innovation.
