. The article provides a general overview of the impact and influence of the father of the Kazakh national intellectual prose of the 20th century, the great writer Abish Kekilbaev, on modern Karakalpak prose. Also, it is discussed about the common spiritual harmony between Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov and Abish Kekilbayev, who are the pioneers of Karakalpak prose, the ability to rationally use the problem of time and space, and their skill in conveying the psychology and inner monologue of their characters.
