The article explores the relationship between thought and expression in romance discourse, focusing on the role of poetic mechanisms in shaping meaning. Romance discourse, characterized by emotional intensity and aesthetic language, relies heavily on figurative devices such as metaphor, symbolism, imagery, and rhythm. The study examines how these mechanisms contribute to the construction of subjective experience and emotional depth. Through a qualitative analysis of selected examples, the article demonstrates that poetic mechanisms are not merely decorative elements but essential tools for conceptualizing and expressing complex emotions and ideas in romantic communication.
