In this article, the concept and types of the “object of crime” were studied and analyzed, in particular, the concepts of “general object”, “special object”, “direct object” and “generic object”, the legal characteristics of the object of crime, the object of torture, the distinguishing features of the object of this crime from other types of crime, the opinions of domestic and foreign scientists. Based on the analysis, the relevant conclusions were drawn.
