One of the severe complications of COVID-19 is ischemic stroke, which have tendency to occurring not only during the diseases, but even after recovery from COVID-19. Because of post-COVID syndrome, procoagulant and anticoagulant balance of some patients still have damaged and risk of possibility thrombosis is very high. One of the main reasons of this issue related to dysfunction genes which responsible for folate cycle (MTHFR, MTRR, MTR) and angiogenetic factor – VEGFA. Because of deficit or inadequately expression of the former genes may cause chronic endothelial dysfunction which aggravate in COVID-19 and the latter gene may cause deficiency of angiogenesis in ischemic zone, so increase possibility of ischemic stroke. Investigation polymorph genes in uzbek population which responsible for this issue, may help to investigate vulnerable individuals, hence with help of these information we can improve prevention or treatment in those individuals through specific method from ischemic stroke and also other complications in COVID-19.
