The article provides information on back pain with common pathologies in the elderly. These diseases causing back pain are separately described and divided into three groups: degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the spine, other diseases of the spine, diseases of internal organs with reflected pain in the spine. The information given in the article will be useful for bacolavians, masters, general practitioners, therapists, neurologists, vertebrologists, oncologists, infectious disease specialists and rehabilitation therapists.
