The role of commercial banks in the development of the national economy is manifested, first of all, in their lending to enterprises in the real sector of the economy. Therefore, improving the credit practices of commercial banks is of great importance in the socio-economic development of the country. On the other hand, improving the lending practices of banks creates the need to ensure the efficiency of loans issued and improve the credit transformation of resources. The article identifies problems associated with improving the credit transformation of commercial banks of the republic and develops scientific proposals aimed at solving them.
