Epilepsy is one of the most common and chronic neurological disorders that can affect people in any age group. Despite the emergence of new antiepileptic drugs for the treatment of epilepsy, the level of drug-resistant forms of epilepsy is quite high, which is 30% of the total number of patients with epilepsy. Therefore, early detection of drug-resistant epilepsy and timely referral of patients to surgical treatment leads to decrease and disappearance of epileptic seizuresand improvement in the social readaptation of patients with epilepsy.
