The purpose of this study is to clarify the role ofThe State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the developmentof the country's digital economy. The article discusses the main tasks andfunctions of this body, as well as its impact on the areas of economicactivity related to the use of modern informationtechnologies. The conclusions of this study may be useful forgovernment agencies, economists and the business community interestedin the development of the digital economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
