In the presented article, the results of the literature review are analyzed. reflecting modem concepts and possibilities of radiation diagnosis in dental practice, in particular, in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory and dystrophic periodontal diseases. Particular attention is paid to the authors of this study, comparing two-dimensional and three-dimensional digital methods of radiation diagnosis, as well as the possibility of cone-beam computed tomography in the diagnosis of various periodontal pathologies.
