This scientific article analyzes foreign practice, especially the methods of work of state bodies on the example of some foreign countries (USA, Great Britain, Finland). In the process of scientific analysis, some problems of public administration and prospects for their solution were identified. The author has developed proposals for solving various issues in the activities of state bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the results of studying foreign experience will serve as a valuable methodological guide. These scientific proposals are aimed at optimizing public administration and the formation of a "compact government". Their implementation is aimed at achieving efficiency and effectiveness in public management, reducing public spending in this area.
