The Surkhan oasis is known for its epic schools, which have survived to this day thanks to the work of the bakhshi. Weddings and celebrations of our ancient ancestors were not complete without bakhshi. Bakhshi sang different epics and called people for good. Their work played an important role in the formation of national spirituality. This article provides information about the Surkhandarya epic schools and famous bakhshi.
