This article analyzes the political relations between the Kokand Khanate and the Emirate of Bukhara in the mid-nineteenth century, focusing on the reign of Mallakhan. It examines the strengthening of central authority after his accession to the throne, the enhancement of internal political stability, and the changes in the system of state governance. The study also scientifically explores the impact of these processes on diplomatic, political, and military relations between the two states.
