The article provides a scientific analysis of research methods for studying ethnology and folklore. And also it is necessary to record, collect or summarize ethnographic and folklore materials or draw up separate programs, study guides, questionnaires and questionnaires for studying a specific ethno-folklore phenomenon, methods of collecting factual material based on a program developed in a geographic area or several ethno-folklore environments , in which research will be carried out, and the study of the collected ethno-folklore materials.
