This article explores the religious beliefs, mythological concepts, customs, and traditions of the Saka nomadic tribes that inhabited the territory of present-day Uzbekistan in ancient times, based on historical, ethnographic, and archaeological sources. It discusses their worship of nature and celestial bodies, veneration of ancestral spirits, and their religious-philosophical ideas concerning life and death, the soul, heaven and hell. The article also examines their religious rituals, burial practices, festivals, sacrificial ceremonies, and other spiritual values. By analyzing archaeological discoveries, ancient written records, and oral folklore, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of the spiritual world and religious traditions of the Saka within their social context.
