Annotatsiya

This article is about the educated women who emerged in Turkestan during the 1920s–1930s – Maryam Sultonmurodova, Khayriniso Majidkhanova, and Matluba Muhammadova. The article covers the lives of Maryam Sultonmurodova and Khayriniso Majidkhanova, their dispatch to Germany for education, and their tragic fate (the repressive policies). It also highlights historical information such as Matluba Muhammadova’s bravery, her sharp writing skills that caused the Soviet government to fear her, and how she too was caught in the whirlpool of repression. The article thoroughly explores the fate of women who sacrificed their lives for their nation, some of whom were executed under false accusations, while others were exiled for long years and, even after exile, were not allowed to rebuild their lives.
