In this article, we can learn about the fact that industry has become an important sector of the national economy in the economic development of the Surkhandarya oasis, especially since the 1950s. The first cotton ginning plant in Surkhandarya was built in 1912, and in the 1930s, the Denau and Khayrabod cotton ginning plants, which had a smaller capacity, were built. Currently, the regional cotton ginning industry is developing.
