The article examines the fact that Uzbekistan has a unique experience in achieving religious tolerance and interethnic harmony, that our greatest achievement is interethnic friendship, civil harmony, peace and tranquility in our country, the importance of the idea of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance in the development of the country, the fact that the Republic of Uzbekistan is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious state contributes to the social stability of the state and society. The importance of interethnic harmony and relations of religious tolerance in ensuring its development is shown. At the new stage of national development of Uzbekistan, activities aimed at ensuring interethnic harmony and religious tolerance in society, strengthening the atmosphere of friendship and the feeling of a large multinational family, educating young people in the spirit of respect for national and universal values, expanding cultural and educational ties with foreign countries were analyzed.
