The archival institution, which stores historical evidence, acquired a modern working method during the Soviet era. Information on the significance of the measures taken in archival work during this period constitutes the main content of the research. Archival documents of the Uzbek SSR formed the basis of the political system of the USSR for more than 70 years, as a result of which this process served as a means of governing society. In turn, changes in the management system inevitably affected the development of archival work in the Union. From this point of view, this article aims to identify the changes in the formation of archives in the Uzbek SSR and the archives of the Fergana Valley in their activities.
