During the colonial period, a number of reforms were carried out in the social life of the Samarkand region. This article identifies the medical reforms implemented by the Russian Empire in the Samarkand region in the early 20th century, along with relevant statistical data and the challenges associated with this field at that time. Additionally, the impact of changes and innovations introduced by the imperial administration during the historical period when the region was known as the Samarkand region is assessed. Furthermore, statistical data on medical treatment are analyzed and compared across different territories.
