The article examines the changes that have occurred in the higher education system of Uzbekistan in the years of independence, focusing on the development of cooperation with foreign countries in preparing personnel according to international standards. It also explores the establishment of foreign higher educational institutions and their branches in the republic, as well as the implementation of reforms in personnel training based on joint educational programs. In particular, during the years of independence, funds were created to train personnel in accordance with international standards, and the study of young people abroad was financed. The activities of foreign higher educational institutions and branches were launched in the republic. In particular, it is scientifically proven that at the new stage of Uzbekistan's development, radical changes, effective reforms and high results are being achieved in this direction. As a result, it is shown on the basis of sources that quantitative and qualitative indicators have increased several times.
