The 21st century of globalization and migration is characterized by its all-encompassing nature. The feminization of external labor migration includes nearly half of all migrants. The article explores the negative consequences of female labor migration on the family and child-rearing. The author also highlights new trends in migration processes, such as the relocation of representatives of local nationalities for permanent residence abroad. Uzbekistan has cooperation agreements on organized labor employment with 27 countries worldwide. The main destinations for labor migration remain Russia (65.1%), Kazakhstan (14.2%), Kyrgyzstan (10.7%), and Turkey (4.5%). The article also notes the measures taken in Uzbekistan to eliminate the causes and conditions contributing to illegal migration, and to form migration policies that regulate international labor migration processes.
