The article covers the issues of formation and development of national scientific personnel in Uzbekistan in the 1930s. The author of the article attempted to analyze the current situation, highlight the problems and achievements in the formation of national scientific personnel, as well as the measures taken in the process of formation of national scientific personnel. Based on the results of the conducted research, it can be concluded that in Uzbekistan in the 30s of the twentieth century, in a historically short period of time, not only quantitative but also qualitative successes were achieved in solving the problems of forming national scientific personnel, many representatives of the Uzbek people defended candidate and doctoral dissertations and subsequently made their significant contribution to the development of science.
