This article discusses the importance of museums, their role in the life of society, analyzes the formation of science museums and their differences from traditional museums. It was especially emphasized that various objects related to the history of the development of science and technology will be reconstructed and turned into museums. It is explained that one of the most important categories of museum classification is the profile of the museum, which distinguishes them from other museums in terms of their goals and objectives. The real emphasis in science museums is determined by the development of science.
