From a historical and ethnological point of view, the article examines the history of Chust knife-making, knife-making technology, national traditions of knife-making, types of national knives made in Chust. Today, the traditions of knife making are continued by representatives of the Chust knife schools. Chust knifemaking differs from knives made in other centers of knifemaking in our country, manufacturing technology, style, decoration, shape.
