The article analyzes the cooperation of our country with foreign Islamic countries in the first years of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, training in the field of religious education. Summarized data are given that students who were sent to study in Islamic countries in 1992-1996 to receive religious education, the conditions created in their universities, the content of Islamic education for students.
