The article provides a scientific analysis of the political and administrative division of the Kashkadarya oasis during the period of the Bukhara Emirate. During this period, on the basis of scientific sources, the tradition of administrative management of the oasis, which existed almost in the Middle Ages, was shown. It is scientifically substantiated that there were two large regions in the oasis - Karshi and Shakhrisabz, and later Yakkabag, Kitab, Chirakchin, Khuzar (Guzar) regions. It has been shown that hundreds of villages in each province are annexed to estates, which are administrative divisions at the smaller parish level. According to sources, the amines were the rulers of the property, the beks were the head of the region, as well as the amines were involved in collecting zakat and taxes from each village, military and civil affairs in the emirate.
