Folklore in its narrow sense is a unique oral verbal creativity, with its own special genre system, a set of plots, heroes, visual means. Folklore, as a phenomenon of the people and the nation, has always been of research interest to scientists. This is a wide section for literary critics and linguists, and as you know, they are the main researchers of traditional, folk culture in all its diversity of forms and ways of expression. This can be explained not only by the desire to study the specifics of folklore itself. The system of plots, genres, etc., reflects a peculiar understanding of the image of the world. Such a way of life has been developing in the public consciousness for thousands of years. and it does not lose its relevance in our time. The research of oral folk art is of particular importance in modern times, when interest in the historical past is growing and the search for a Russian national idea is underway.
