The article explores some mattersin the fieldof the citizen protection from illegal criminal prosecution and accusation, restrictionof their rights and freedoms. Also examined a mechanism ofcompensation for harm caused by unlawful or unjustified criminal charges. Proposals for improvinglegislation are justified.
