In the modern ESH (2023) and ESC (2024) guidelines on arterial hypertension (AH), the following key provisions for the use of combination therapies from the start of treatment have been clearly formulated for the first time: the use of single-pill combinations (SPCs) should be preferred at any stage of treatment, i.e., at the initiation of therapy with a combination of two drugs and at any other stage of treatment (Class I recommendation, Level of Evidence B). These statements have also been incorporated into the 2024 clinical guidelines on AH in adults by the Russian Cardiological Society (RCS) and the 2025 National Clinical Protocol on AH by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This article presents a new approach to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases using universal SPCs in real-world clinical practice
